Event Parking: Free metered street parking for the holiday. $5 parking on City Island. $5 parking at the River Street Garage from 8am-5pm (you must enter & exit within these hours to receive the discounted rate).

Event Details:

On Friday, July 4, 2025, the City of Harrisburg will host the July 4th Food Truck Festival at Riverfront Park from 12-7pm. The event will feature nearly 50 food trucks, a wine/beer garden, live music, roller skating rink, line dancing, an American music icon costume contest, a petting zoo featuring mini highland cows, free kids activities, and more. Cheer on the Harrisburg Senators baseball team after the event at 7pm and enjoy a post-game fireworks display at the stadium.
This is a free admission event – no tickets are required. Only contact specialevents@harrisburgpa.gov with questions about the event to avoid scammers.
